According to the guidelines issued by the Department of Official Language this year, Hindi Day celebration was inaugurated on 14th September, 2022 during the All India Official Language Conference, Surat (Gujarat). Shri Kumar Anand, Administrative Officer, NESAC participated in the program on behalf of NESAC. Hindi Pakhwada was organized at NESAC from 14th to 29th September, 2022 and a number of competitions were organized – such as Essay writing, Hindi poetry recitation, picture what speaks, noting translation (English to Hindi) etc. In addition, a creative writing and Drawing competition were also organized for the family members of NESAC employees.
A special typing competition was organized during this quarter in association with TOLIC ,Shillong, in which a total of 4 employees were trained. During the closing ceremony organized on 29th September, 2022 Dr. SP Aggarwal, Director, NESAC, congratulated everyone for the successful organization of Hindi Pakhwada and also distributed the prizes to the winners of the competitions. The program concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Smt. Namita Rani Paul Mitra, Jr. Translation Officer and Member-Secretary, Official Language Implementation Committee, NESAC.
