International Women’s Day was celebrated at NESAC on 9th March 2023 (8th March being a holiday). The celebration commenced with welcome by Dr. Jonali Goswami, Sci/Engr ‘SF’ & Chairperson, NESAC Internal Complaint Committee (ICC), NESAC followed by felicitation of the Chief Guest, Smt. Delina Khongdup, Member, National Commission for Women by Dr. S P Aggarwal, Director NESAC with memento and bouquet.
As part of the Celebration, Smt. Delina Khongdup, Member, National Commission for Women delivered a talk focusing on “Elimination of gender based violence and discrimination adopting innovative approaches to bring perceptible changes to the social, political, economic and cultural empowerment of women”.
