NESAC organized a popular talk, quiz, and painting competition as part of the International Moon Day celebration on 20th July, 2022. Students from eight nearby schools participated in the competitions. The group of students was from classes VII to X. There was another group of kids from NESAC staff. The popular talk on ‘The moon: our nearest neighbor’ was delivered by Dr Vishal Joshi, Scientist, Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmadabad. Space on wheel- exhibition bus was parked in the venue for participants of the moon day celebration. The day long program was concluded with a concluding session where prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions.
