Vigilance Awareness Week was celebrated nationwide from 26th October to 1st November, 2021 coinciding with the birthday of Sardar Ballabhbhai Patel on 31st October, which is celebrated as National Unity Day. This year, Vigilance Awareness Week was celebrated with the theme “Independent India @75: Self Reliance with Integrity”. NESAC celebrated the Vigilance Awareness Week and National Unity Day with a week-long program. An essay writing competition for NESAC staff was organized on 25th October followed by Patriotic Singing Competition on 27th October, Slogan Writing competition on 26th October and Quiz Competition on 29th October. Director NESAC administered the Vigilance Awareness Pledge to the staff of NESAC on 26th October and National Unity Pledge on 29th October. A lecture on the life and activities of Sardar Ballabhbhai Patel was delivered by Shri Sishir Tiwari, Asst. Professor, Dept of Law, NEHU, Shillong via online mode on 28th October. NESA staff took out a Padayatra to mark the conclusion of the week-long celebration on 31st October.
